Ideal for Single-Stage Systems
This thermostat is perfect for conventional single-stage heating (gas, oil, or electric furnace) and ventilation & air conditioning systems. It supports one heat and one cool function. Note that it does not work with multistage heating and air conditioning systems, or HVAC central air conditioner heat pump systems.
Incompatible Systems
This product does not work with multistage heating and cooling, dual-heating and cooling systems (2H/2C), HVAC central air conditioner heat pumps (2H/1C, 2H/2C with 2-stage auxiliary heat), mini split heat pump air conditioners, RV air conditioners Mach and Roughneck Series, 3-wire hydronic systems, dual fuel/hybrid heating systems, line voltage systems (120-240V electric baseboards heat), and mini split heat pump air conditioners.
