The SunTouch product line includes options for above subfloor, between joist bay, or concrete embedded systems. These systems are available for warming tile, stone, wood, laminate, and other floor coverings. SunTouch offers many useful features, such as options for display color themes, remote access, large touchscreens, and control of floor or air temperature. The SunTouch WarmWire provides underfloor heating in bathrooms, kitchens, entryways, and other areas. It can be installed over plywood, backerboard, or concrete slab, and is suitable for installation in a shower area where permitted by local authorities. The WarmWire is controlled by a SunStat floor sensing thermostat (sold separately).

The SunTouch WarmWire is a series resistance heating cable assembly for installation over plywood, backer board, or a concrete slab, and then embedded in 3/8 in. (9.5 mm) or greater self-leveling or polymer-modified thin-set mortar. The durable, constant-diameter wire is easily secured at 2.5 in., 3 in., or 3.5 in. intervals with CableStrap. WarmWire is an affordable alternative to radiant heated mats and is approved for installation in shower applications where permitted.

WarmWire is the most flexible choice for irregularly-shaped or curved rooms and stairs. For typical installations, WarmWire is spaced at 3 inches on center. For areas with high heat loss, the spacing can be lowered to 2.5 inches for added warmth. In hallways and rooms that are well insulated, spacing can be increased to 3.5 inches on center. Controlling the level of warmth is easily accomplished with a connected SunStat Thermostat.

The SunStat Thermostat allows you to control your floor heating system(s) with its WiFi capability, 7-day scheduling, and dual voltage 120/240V with built-in GFCI for safety and energy use monitoring. The LoudMouth Alarm sounds an alarm if the heating wire is cut or damaged, allowing for easy repair before the mat is covered with mortar and tile. The HeatMatrix offers versatile heating cable compatibility, vapor management, shear stress control, and waterproofing. The SunTouch Trowel, with its plastic design and U-shape notches, aids in mortar distribution and reduces the risk of damaging the wire.
